Tips for Setting Your Preferences
Number of Results
You can set the number of Web results that are
displayed on the first page of results for each search. We
recommend 10 (the default) for best results and optimal speed
of responses. To view more results, click on a page number or
the "next" arrow on the bottom of the Ask.com Reply
Page.
Open Answers in a New
Browser
You can set the option of
opening the pages listed in the search results in a new
browser window in order to keep your Ask.com results page
easily accessible. Some people prefer this setting, especially
when performing research or multiple
searches.
Adult Search Results
FilterThe adult content filter is
designed to filter out explicit, adult-oriented content from
our Web Search results. You can customise this filter to
always be "off," "on" or to display a "warning page" when
sexually explicit search material is likely to be returned
(The "warning page" is the default selection.). Please note,
despite our best efforts, Ask.com cannot guarantee that all
explicit content will be excluded from search
results.Saving Your
SettingsAt the bottom of the
settings form there is a button labeled "Save Settings." After
you have set your preferences, clicking this button will save
those settings for future visits to Ask.com.CookiesIn order to set and save your preferences your
