Ask Jeeves today launches a discount vouchers channel, which will display the best deals available when users search for their favourite online retailers, suppliers and restaurants. The new search feature is being launched in conjunction with voucher search engine BView that brings together vouchers for 40,000 locations across the UK from a large variety of partners, ranging from retailers such as Dixons and Argos to restaurant chains such as Pizza Express, as well as local businesses across the UK. Cesar Mascaraque, Ask Jeeves Managing Director as well as a director of BView, said: "A lot of consumers find discount voucher sites a minefield to navigate round and find it difficult to actually find the offer they are looking for. "This feedback prompted us to partner with BView, which has one of the largest and most up-to-date databases of vouchers in the UK, and launch a new search feature which we believe has a zero frustration factor." He added: "Discount vouchers are now one of our top search terms so it is fantastic to be returning such a great search experience for our users. We look forward to announcing more great new search features soon." As well as displaying current vouchers and codes from leading brands currently popular with its users, Ask Jeeves will help consumers in their quest for good deals by displaying popular related searches tailored specifically to 'saving money'. The vouchers market both online and offline has exploded in the past 12 months, with consumers reacting to the recession by trimming budgets. BView CEO Brad Liebmann said, "We are delighted to be partnering with Ask Jeeves to launch this great search feature. "Discount vouchers are all the rage in the current climate and this is a great way to make even more savings."
