Ask Jeeves partners with Breast Cancer Care for Breast Cancer Awareness Month Jeeves the butler is ditching his smart suit for a pink tutu – to celebrate a first-of-its-kind partnership with Breast Cancer Care next month. The well-known face of internet search engine Ask Jeeves will don a series of pink outfits to publicise the partnership during Breast Cancer Awareness month, which kicks off on Thursday 1st October. Ask Jeeves will be offering users the chance to show their support through themed homepage skins, toolbars, quizzes and social media. The website will also feature a Breast Cancer Care tribute page where users can place messages for themselves or loved ones. Each user who takes part in these activities will generate a contribution from Ask Jeeves to Breast Cancer Care, the UK's leading charity providing immediate front line support to those living with breast cancer. The initiative gives Ask Jeeves users a free and easy way to support Breast Cancer Care and could raise a six figure sum for the charity. To celebrate and promote the partnership, Jeeves will appear on the homepage and reply pages of the Ask Jeeves site in a series of different pink outfits, including a pink tutu and pink suit. He will also be active on Facebook and Twitter, talking about all things pink and breast cancer related. Sarah Bartlett, Marketing Director of Ask Jeeves, said: "We're thrilled to be able to play a part in supporting this brilliant and important charity - and give our users the chance to show their support too. The fact that Jeeves seems to suit pink really well is a bit of an unexpected bonus." James Fletcher of Breast Cancer Care said "Ask Jeeves has created an easy, engaging, and cost-free way for customers to get involved with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are thrilled that the search engine is supporting us with such an innovative initiative this October which will raise vital funds to enable Breast Cancer Care to provide free information and support services to even more people who are living with breast cancer." The Ask Jeeves and Breast Cancer Care initiative mirrors a similar partnership being run by Ask.com in the US throughout Breast Cancer Awareness month with the Susan G Komen for the Cure charity.
