Place the hyperlinks to Ask.com (uk.ask.com) on your site. Ask.com will track every click from your site to uk.ask.com. Every month, assuming that you've accrued £50 or more in payments, Ask.com will send you a cheque for the total number of clicks.

Is my site eligible for the Ask.com Partner Programme?

Ask.com enjoys working with all sites from individual pages to large commercial sites. Anyone may submit an application, as long as they are over 18 and based in the UK, and we will review your application before accepting it into the network. Ask.com reserves the right to refuse a site if it contains objectionable material including pornography, explicit language or support for violent groups and if this type of content is added at any time.

Is there a fee to join?

Absolutely not! And you are free to cancel at any time here.

Can I join if my site is not based in the United Kingdom or Ireland?

Yes, of course.

Can I apply before I have a website?

Unfortunately, no. In order for Ask.com to process your application, the site must be live so we can review it.

What is my responsibility as a Partner?

Your responsibility is to choose the most relevant Ask.com search boxes and text links and to set up what works best for your site. You may use as many links as you like.

What is Ask.com's responsibility?

Ask.com will provide you with the tools and support you need to create your links. distribution.ask.com is your online resource center for graphics, links, reporting, and more. If you require any further help, contact us distribution@ask.com.

Can I change and update my links whenever I want?

Yes. You may change and update the links on your site at any time.

Can I have more than one website?

Yes. Please send the url to distribution@ask.com for approval.

ADMINISTRATION

What if I have forgotten my password?

Enter your username and then click the "forgotten password" link and you will receive an email with a new password.

Can I change my password?

Yes. Go to User Administration >> Change Password. Enter previous password and then the new password you want to use.

What if my details change?

You can update your account details at User Administration >> Update Details.

CREATING LINKS

What code options are available to me?

Tracking options include both JavaScript and HTML, but we recommend using JavaScript as this will ensure that further updates can be made through Ask.com directly, thus limiting disruption to your site and service. There is also a text link version available.

How do I create search boxes and text links?

Log in using your username and password. In the left hand toolbar, go to Creatives >> Search Boxes. Select your site from the dropdown, then select the box type you want to use: Dynamic Include (JavaScript Version), Static Box (HTML version) or Text Link. Click next and select 1 of the 4 sizes of search box. Click Next and the code is then ready for you to copy to your clipboard and insert into your site.

Can I modify the links available?

We do NOT recommend changing the code in any way as it may affect the tracking of your link. We are not responsible for any lost commission that may result from modification of links.

PAYMENT

How is traffic tracked and credited to my site?

All links from your site to Ask.com contain your site's unique Source ID so that every time a user visits Ask.com via your site, Ask.com knows to credit your site.

What will I be paid for?

You will be paid for a query which results in landing on an Ask.com results page. You will not be paid for a click-through to the home page.

How will I be paid for multiple sites?

You will receive one cheque which encompasses revenue from all the website in which you have Ask.com links.

How do I keep track of commissions?

Use the reporting tool at distribution.ask.com. Log in with your username and password. Go to the reporting section.

REPORTING

How will I monitor my sales from day to day?

We offer many online reports on distribution.ask.com that are regularly updated. These reports tell you how many queries have been sent to Ask.com from your site.

How often are reports updated?

Daily. They show traffic 24 hours in arrears.

What if my report seems inaccurate?
